Hike For Eggs

Hike For Eggs Rebirth

Rebirth trades your Strength and level for permanent multipliers. The panel shows both sides of the trade before you press the button, which is more than most games in this genre do — so here it is written out.

What you keep

  • Cash
  • Poles
  • Upgrades
  • Pets

Everything you paid Cash for survives. That is why Rebirth is worth doing early.

What resets

  • Strength
  • Level

Your Strength goes back to the start, so bank a run first if you are close to a stage you want to reach.

When to Rebirth

Rebirth needs level 25 the first time. Because poles, upgrades and pets survive, the only thing you actually lose is the Strength you trained — and the Cash multiplier you gain makes every future run faster to fund. Doing it as soon as you hit 25 is usually better than grinding the cap for a few extra percent.

You can pay to skip the requirement

The panel has a Skip Rebirth button that costs Robux. It is there if you want the multiplier before you have the level, not because it is required — waiting for level 25 costs nothing.

Buy your poles before you Rebirth

Poles are kept, and they are the only Strength source you pay for with in-game Cash rather than Robux. See the hiking pole table for exact prices before you spend the Cash a Rebirth run earned you.
