Hike For Eggs

Hike For Eggs hiking poles

Poles are the cheapest way to raise Strength, and Strength is what decides how far up the trail you can go. There are three tiers and the game never lists them together, so the table below is read straight off the Hiking poles panel.

Buy them in order, but not blindly

Every tier costs roughly 20x the one before it while the Strength gain only goes up a couple of points. Rusty poles are $11.0K for +8, so the jump from Driftwood is 22x the price for 2.7x the Strength. Buy the next tier when the trail is blocking you — the game tells you the stage's Recommended Strength before you enter it — not because you happen to have the Cash.

What each tier actually does

  • Starter poles · +1 Strength · free

Free and equipped from the moment you spawn.

  • Driftwood poles · +3 Strength · $500

The first thing worth buying. Triples your Strength gain.

  • Rusty poles · +8 Strength · $11.0K

22x the price of Driftwood for a little under 3x the Strength.

Poles are not the only Strength source

The treadmill at your base trains Strength passively, and the three packs across the top of the screen (+10K, +100K and +1M Strength) buy it outright for Robux. Poles are the only one of the three that is paid for with in-game Cash.
